BIGSHOT 500 Series

The  BigShot 500 is equipped with a 500 lb propane fired melter and a single acting hydraulically operated submerged piston pump with double the shot size output from previous models. The pump can be serviced without removing the melter lid. Startup is quick and efficient, with side mounted pump chamber heating at the same rate as the material in the melter. There are no troublesome reed switches just a simple, mechanical shot size adjuster that provides consistent repeatable output. A durable 12V DC heated hose either 10 ft or optional 15 ft is supplied.  Electrically heated wands, 24″ standard, 4 or 6″ optional, with duckbill valve at end to minimize dripping is standard. A propane ready 18 HP Kawasaki engine, CARB and EPA certified, supplies the power to operate an integrated power pack with pressure compensated hydraulic pump and 105 amp alternator.
