160CF Continuous Flow
The 160CF Epoxy Machine is a portable meter, mix and dispensing system for 1:1 ratio epoxy. It was designed to withstand the day to day rigors of the pavement maintenance and construction industries. Raised pavement markers, dowel bars and temporary construction zone delineators are only a few of the uses for this machine. The heart of the system is Dispensing Technology’s simple and durable positive displacement pumps. Mixing is accomplished with a low cost, maintenance free disposable static mixer. The two materials remain separate until they enter the disposable mixer. Thoroughly mixed and properly proportioned material is delivered at the push of a button. The 160CF is a continuous flow type of machine. When the trigger is pulled, metered and mixed material is dispensed until the trigger is released. The efficient closed metering and mixing system minimizes the operator’s exposure to the material fumes and virtually eliminates the mess of hand measuring and mixing.
Specifications
- Machine is self contained, complete and ready to operate.
- Mounting skid is 66″ x 48″ tall.
- Compressor has a free air output of 29 CFM @ 175 PSI.
- Engine is an air cooled, 14 hp Kohler with electric start, gasoline powered. Air tank is 30 gallon and ASME certified. Compressor length is 42″ long X 19″ wide X 45″ high.
- Compressor has a continuous run head unloader with over pressure safety valve and all other appurtenances required for the proper operation of machine, including a filter/regulator and lubricator for the pump drive motor.
- Pump assemblies are pneumatically driven and hard chrome plated for abrasion resistance.
- Two pumps are supplied, one pump for resin and one pump for catalyst. Combined output of pumps are variable up to 1 gallon per minute at 40 cycles per minute.
- Pumps are rated for 3000 PSI continuous duty.
- The pump pressure shall be infinitely variable up to 1900 PSI @ 100 PSI air input by adjusting the supply pressure to the drive motor with the supplied regulator.
- Gun is a plural component gun with separate inlets and outlets for the resin and catalyst.
- Gun is rated 3300 PSI minimum with appropriate safety factor.
- Gun is designed to accept disposable mixing tubes.
- Resin and catalyst will not come in contact with each other until entering the disposable static mixing tube. Static mixers are disposable for ease of replacement and are 3/4″ inside diameter X 24 mix elements.
- Gun storage means are provided to hold gun securely for travel.
- Material output hoses are rated for 3300 PSI and are a minimum of 1/2″ inside diameter X 25′ in length.
- Pump inlet filters are a Y-strainer type and mounted between the material reservoirs and the inlet to the pumps. Filter element is 20 mesh.
- Material reservoirs are a minimum of 10 gallon capacity and ASME rated.
